About the shop
Hi-Fi Hopes is a one-person restoration shop working out of Paulding, Ohio, focused on silverface-era receivers from Marantz, Sansui, Pioneer, Kenwood, and Yamaha.
Every unit gets the same treatment: bias and offset verified against spec, failing capacitors replaced, dial lighting restored with warm-white LEDs, and contacts cleaned before anything goes back together. Nothing leaves the bench until it measures right.
